An Overview of the Striking Difference Between Secured and Unsecured Loans

In our journey for the search of the best financial options, at times we caught ourselves in a bewildered state because of the wide availability of options, the major ones being, secured and unsecured. Both the types of loan have their own share of advantages and disadvantages. Broadly speaking both secured as well as unsecured loans is a type of personal loan.

Now, let’s explore both the types in this article and find out what are the differences between the two?

Well! Let’s start with Secured Loans. Secured Loans, as the name suggests necessitates a security against the loan taken. The type of security required could be any, such as, home, shares, bonds, car, jewellery et al. However, the most commonly used type of security is the borrower’s home. Going back to its origin, Secured Loans can be considered as the conventional type of borrowing. To put up an example, in yester years, people used to keep their land or home in order to take up a loan. The tradition has been followed till today.

There are a number of circumstances when Secured Loan counts as a better option to the borrowers. Let’s discuss some of them: the major benefit of taking up a Secured Loan is the lower interest rate offered. With Secured Loans, you can also enjoy a favourable term. A Secured Loan helps the borrower to enjoy a high level of flexibility. Some lenders of Secured Loans even extends the period of repayment in accordance with the borrower’s affordability.

However like any other type of borrowing, Secured Loan also has its own shades of disadvantages. The major one being, if you fail to repay the loan your assets may be repossessed by your lender. Secured Loans generally are restricted to home owners which at times turns out as a disadvantage.

Now, let’s shift our attention to Unsecured Loans. After discussing the major advantages and disadvantages, it might come as no surprise to learn that around 90 per cent of all loans arranged fall into the unsecured category.

The reason being, Unsecured Loans do not necessitates any type of security, be it home or any assets. Unsecured Loans came as a rescue to the tenants and the home owners who do not have any collateral to offer. However, it should be remembered that since the lender faces a higher amount of risk in Unsecured Loans because of no collateral attached. The lender tries to compensate the risk by charging a higher rate of interest. This very feature of the Unsecured Loan turns out as one of the major disadvantages. Unsecured Loans generally fails to offer its borrowers the flexibility of extending the loan term which can be counted as a pitfall when compared to Secured Loans.

Whatever type of loan you might choose. Before selecting your option, you must weigh out all the pros and cons. It should be kept in mind that whether secured or unsecured, both the loans are meant to be repaid. So, make sure to understand all the features of both the types of loans. Compare the deals and after careful consideration choose the one that suits your requirements perfectly.

Top 3 Ways Great Copywriters Exploit Their Swipefile

No copywriter worth his salt will ever sit down to write
an ad without it. (If you haven’t already started your
own collection of …PROVEN… successful sales letters,
keep reading and discover the ‘quick and easy’ way
to begin).

Here’s how to get the most from your swipefile…

1) First Impressions - How Does It Look?

If you can get hold of a good quality image of the ad,
you can discover what captivated the prospect and made
them read, and ultimately purchase the product or service.

Priceless information such as:

How is the letter structured?

Do the paragraphs have formatting like first line
indentation?

Is there a picture with caption?

Does the letter have a johnson box with tantilising FREE
offer for the reader?

What font type and size did they use for the pre, main
and sub-headline?

Where are the bullet points placed?

You get the idea…

2) Scissors, Paper, Printer… and Some Glue

Bet you’ve not done this for a while :)

Once your collection of ads starts to grow, so does your
swipefile of winning headlines, openings, bullets,
guarantees and closings.

So whenever you sit down to write your next ad, you’ll
instantly have at your disposal ready made templates to
model and swipe.

This will provoke fresh new ideas and help you to come
up with that killer headline or hook for the foundation
of your ad.

The best way to take advantage of this goldmine is to
print out each individual component, and glue them onto
6×4 rolodex cards.

Using visual cues like this to stimuluate your brain into
copywriting mode, is second only to what I share with you
next.

(If you have word-for-word transcripts of the ads, this
will save you typing them all out).

3) You May Have Heard This Before. But Do You Do It?

You absolutely MUST handwrite …with pen and paper…
the great ads we have been talking about. Why? Because
you neurogically embed the writing style of the copywriter
deep within. And then you get to channel that into your
own sales letters.

Let me repeat! Your brain will adopt the secrets of each
ad when you copy them out in your own handwriting.

It takes commitment, and a little push. Most folks don’t
want to put in the effort. But if you master ALL 3 of
these simple, but deadly effective strategies, you’ll
considerably shortcut your education of Salemanship-In-Print.

Just make sure you model the right ads ;)

Mediterranean Cruise Expert Guide

A Mediterranean cruise is without doubt the most
varied type of cruise available. There are more than
120 seaports around the Mediterranean coastline,
offering numerous combinations of cruise vacations
over one-week, two-week or longer trips.

A huge clash of cultures await all who opt for a
Mediterranean cruise. You can visit no less than
17 different countries, including such nations as
Spain, Italy, Greece and Egypt. Each nation has its
own unique attractions, all of which you can sample
as your cruise ship gracefully sails around the calm
blue Mediterranean Sea.

More than 50 companies offer cruises along varied
routes in the Mediterranean. Some companies specialize
in providing Western Mediterranean cruises,
concentrating on ports of call around Portugal,
Spain, France, Italy and Morocco. Other companies
offer Eastern Mediterranean cruises which take in
Croatia, Greece, Turkey and countries in the Middle
East. Popular specialist Mediterranean cruises include
a tour of the North African nations, a Mediterranean
islands cruise that visits the island nations of
Cyprus and Malta, as well as cruises around the Greek
Islands. If you’re after a longer vacation, it is
possible to arrange a cruise itinerary that takes
you around most if not all of the Mediterranean
nations.

History, culture, grand cities, ancient monuments,
romantic islands and breathtaking views are all
within easy reach on a Mediterranean cruise. In the
Western Mediterranean you can discover the traditional
white Andalucian villages of Southern Spain, sample
the world-famous Manzanilla sherry in Cadiz and visit
the cultural hub of Europe in the shape of Barcelona,
before travelling onwards to the French Riviera.

A cruise that takes in the wonderful coastline of
Italy yields such treasures as the dormant volcano of
Mt Vesuvius, ancient Pompeii and the stunning city of
Rome. The islands of Sicily and Sardinia hold many
delights too on a Western Mediterranean cruise.

In the Eastern Mediterranean, cruise passengers can
discover the spectacular Croatian coastline and its
beautiful city - Dubrovnik, before diving
southeastwards to sample classical Greece and its
sultry islands. The island of Crete is always worth
a visit, if only for the historic Palace of Knossos.

A visit to the holy city of Jerusalem is a
worthwhile excursion from both Israeli ports -
Haifa and Ashdod - on a Mediterranean cruise of the
Middle East. Egypt’s Port Said is well worth a visit
too. Port Said provides access to the world famous
Suez Canal, which takes vessels into the Red Sea and
onwards in to the Arabian Sea.

The Mediterranean region has seen many a civilization
rise and fall. It is a crucible of human evolution
and is rich in relics left over by more than 6,000
years of occupation. If you’ve ever wanted to discover
what it felt like to be an Egyptian pharaoh, Roman
warrior or a Greek philosopher, a Mediterranean cruise
can give you just that opportunity…

Website content & usability

Writing for the web is totally different to writing for printed matter. We tend to scan content on the web hunting for the information we’re after, as opposed to reading word-for-word. As a result of this, there are certain guidelines you should be sure to follow when writing copy for your website:

1. Use clear and simple language

Reading from computer screens is tiring for the eyes and about 25% slower than reading from printed matter. As such, the easier the style of writing the easier it is for site visitors to absorb your words of wisdom.

Some techniques for using clear and simple language include:

- Avoid slang or jargon - Get your grandmother and ten year old nephew to read your site - if both can understand the page content you’ve done well!
- Use shorter words where possible - ‘Begin’ rather than ‘commence’, ‘used to’ rather than ‘accustomed to’ etc.
- Avoid complex sentence structures - Try to include just one idea or concept per sentence
- Use active ahead of passive words - ‘We won the award’ is shorter and easier to comprehend than, ‘The award was won by us’

2. Limit each paragraph to one idea

If you assign just one idea to each paragraph site visitors can:

- Easily scan through each paragraph
- Get the general gist of what the paragraph is about
- Then move on to the next paragraph

All this and without fear that they’ll be skipping over important information, because they will already know roughly what the paragraph is about.

Limiting each paragraph to just one idea is especially effective when combined with front-loading paragraph content.

3. Front-load content

Front-loading content means putting the conclusion first, followed by the what, how, where, when and why. The first line of each paragraph should contain the conclusion for that paragraph, so site visitors can:

- Quickly scan through the opening sentence
- Instantly understand what the paragraph is about
- Decide if they want to read the rest of the paragraph or not

Because each paragraph contains just one idea, users can do all this safe in the knowledge that if they jump to the next paragraph they won’t be missing any new concepts.

Front-loading also applies to web pages, as well as paragraphs. The opening paragraph on every page should always contain the conclusion of that page. This way, site visitors can instantly gain an understanding of what the page is about and decide whether they want to read the page or not.

Unfortunately many websites don’t adhere to this guideline and end up writing page content in a story-format. On each page there’s an introduction, middle and conclusion, in that order. Unfortunately, when scanning through web content we don’t tend to read all the text nor read all the way to the bottom of the screen. As such, you may easily miss the conclusion if it’s left until the end.

So remember, conclusion first, everything else second! For a great example of front-loaded content, just read any newspaper article. The opening paragraph is always the conclusion of the article.

4. Use descriptive sub-headings

Breaking up text with descriptive sub-headings allows site visitors to easily see what each section of the page is about. The main heading on the page provides a brief overall view of what page is about, and the opening paragraph gives a brief conclusion of the page (because you’ve front-loaded the page content). Within the page though, there are various sub-themes which can be quickly put across with sub-headings.

There’s no hard and fast rule for how frequently to use sub-headings, but you should probably be roughly aiming for one sub-heading every two to four paragraphs. More importantly though, the sub-headings should group on-page content into logical groups, to allow site visitors to easily access the information that they’re after.

5. Bolden important words

Another way to help users locate information quickly and easily is to bolden important words in some paragraphs. When site visitors scan through the screen this text stands out to them, so do make sure the text makes sense out of context.

Bolden two to three words which describe the main point of the paragraph, and not words on which you’re placing emphasis. By seeing these boldened words site visitors can instantly gain an understanding of what the paragraph is about and decide whether or not they want to read it.

6. Use descriptive link text

In the same way that bold text stands out to screen-scanning web users, so does link text. Link text such as ‘click here’ makes no sense whatsoever out of context so is useless to site visitors scanning web pages. To find out the destination of the link, site visitors have to hunt through the text both before and after the link text.

7. Use lists

Lists are preferable to long paragraphs because they:

- Allow users to read the information vertically rather than horizontally
- Are easier to scan
- Are less intimidating
- Are usually more succinct

8. Left-align text
Left-aligned text is easier to read than justified text, which in turn is easier to read than centre- or right-aligned text.

When reading through justified text the spacing between each word is different so our eyes have to search for the next word. This slows down our reading speed. Right- and centre-aligned paragraphs slow down reading speed even more because each time you finish reading one line your eye has to search for the beginning of the next line.

Conclusion

These eight guidelines are nothing revolutionary nor are they difficult to implement. Yet so many websites structure their content so poorly to the detriment of their site visitors. Have a quick look over your website now - how does it do with regards to these content guidelines?

Complacency

During the month of January the Dow Jones Industrial Average, usually referred to as the DOW, had an almost 1,000 point range, most of it down and the average investor has yawned and said ’so what, this has happened many times before’.

Is there any reason to worry now?

The terrible event of September 11 shocked investors who sold heavily and then watched the market climb back to where it was on September 10. The investing public as well as many professional money managers now believe that soon this year we will see the DOW move back up for another bull market like we had in 1999. Let’s hope they are right, BUT suppose they are wrong. What will happen to the stocks and mutual funds you own now?

What will be the valuation of those equities if the DOW smashes through the 8,000 level and goes even lower? Do you have anything in place that can protect you from such a catastrophe? Is there a solution to that potential disaster?

Yes, there is. And it is very simple.

If you believe that the market is going lower you could sell every stock you own and buy some bonds, but no one knows for sure. If the stocks and mutual funds you own go up you will kick yourself. Here is a sure-fire way to protect your money. Place an open stop-loss order of about 10% under its most recent low price. That way if it goes up you will be able to move the stop up to lock in additional profit and if it goes down you will not take a bigger loss. This is how every professional trader makes money. You allow yourself to take big winners and only small losses.

The biggest problem with doing this is YOU. Huh? Yes, it is the fact that few people want to sell even with a small loss. They prefer to sell with a big loss. I’m not joking.

I know the story all too well. Investors say, “When it goes back up, I’ll sell and get out even” Or “It can’t go any lower. I’ll hold on.” How about this one, “How can I sell it now when it has dropped this far?” Folks, things aren’t going to get any better. If you had had that stop-loss order in you would have been out at a much higher price. With mutual funds you cannot put in a stop order so you must call in your order when it breaks the price barrier you have set. Do not rely on your broker to do it for you and do NOT let the broker talk you out of it unless, of course, he wants to guarantee in writing that it won’t go any lower. And pigs can fly.

You cannot become complacent and believe the great Wall Street lie that the market always comes back. It may, but it might not be before you retire. Only you can protect your money.

How to Raise Testosterone Levels

Testosterone is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland in both males and females. As we age, testosterone production slows down and the body has a decrease in the amount of free testosterone that is available in the bloodstream. These reduced levels of testosterone can cause a variety of problems including hair loss, irritability, growth of unwanted body hair in women, a reduced libido, and the inability to maintain all of your muscle mass. If you want to counteract some of these problems, there are several ways to increase your testosterone levels naturally so that you can look and feel better.

Raising your testosterone levels can happen if you eat the right kinds of foods. Studies have shown that the proteins in eggs and whey allow the adrenal glands to keep the levels of testosterone in the body steady. Eating fruits and vegetables can also have a positive effect on the levels of testosterone in your body. Because fat contains enzymes that convert testosterone to estrogen, having a lot of fat on your body increases your chances for developing low testosterone levels. Eating fruits and vegetables can help you lose fat and also develop a stronger immune system. Eating meat can also help you to raise your testosterone levels. In a research study, one group of participants ate a vegetarian diet while others ate a diet of meat. Those who ate the meat diet experienced an increase in their testosterone levels. The protein in nuts can also be very beneficial for raising your testosterone levels. Studies have shown that nuts, particularly peanuts, can raise testosterone levels better than other foods.

Weight bearing exercises are also an excellent way to help increase the levels of testosterone in your body. Instead of training one or two of your small muscles, you should concentrate on training large muscle groups to get the maximum effect of these exercises on your testosterone levels. When you are doing these exercises, doing a heavy workload can also maximize the benefits of this type of exercise when it comes to increasing your testosterone levels. Instead of doing many repetitions with a low amount of weight, do five repetitions with a weight that is difficult for you to lift. Working large muscles groups by using a heavy workload has been shown to help with your efforts to increase testosterone levels in your body.

Several ways of increasing your testosterone levels are actually very common-sense approaches to health and wellness. One method of increasing your levels is to limit the amount of alcohol you consume. Consuming alcohol makes your body slow down its production of testosterone and other hormones because it is busy processing the alcohol to clear it out of your system. Another method of raising your levels is to get enough sleep at night. Scientific research shows that people who get a good night’s sleep are able to maintain higher testosterone levels than those who are sleep-deprived. If your levels are low, try changing your sleeping habits to get a better night’s sleep. Following all of these natural methods of increasing your testosterone can raise your levels and make you look and feel better.

Time Management

In today’s hectic world, time management cannot but be emphasised. It is the fundamental defence you have against the innumerable diversions that are available, diversions that take you away from your goals. Every goal necessarily involves putting in the required effort, both physical and mental; that means finding and allotting the necessary time towards these requirements. You have to fit in the activities with in your available time.

Remember, a day has only 24 hours. Out of this nearly 14 hours is taken away by your need to sleep, eat, commute to work etc., spending time with your family and other routine activities. That leaves you just about 10 hours to earn a living as well as fit in any other activity you may contemplate for your growth in desired spheres. You may at the most be able to squeeze in another couple of hours, with difficulty. This shows you how important it is to manage your time is you harbour any ambition to break out of your rut and grow to reach your full potential.

Ask yourself the following questions.

Is what you are doing adding value to your life?

Are the actions you contemplate taking essential?

Is there anyway to spend less time on those actions?

Can those actions be combined with some others or, better still can they be delegated to someone else?

How much time is required to complete the work?

What is the best time of the day and week to attempt those actions?

These are just a few of the check list that managing time entails. Some of the common time wasters are,

a. Telephone interruptions
b. Unannounced Visitors
c. Lack of Objectives and Aims
d. Unforeseen emergency
e. Lack of Discipline

This list can be built upon. One gets the drift. Manage your time and spend it wisely and you are more likely than not to be a success in anything you attempt.

As a well known saying goes,

20% of activity gives 80% of results and 80% of activity gives 20% of results. It is the latter kinds of activity that needs to be curtailed. If the first 20% can be pushed upto 25% you are assured of 100% results.

Fix Your Slice: The Cause & Simple Cures For The Beginner Golfer

Are you slicing all or some of your tee
shots? If so, you are no different
than most new golfers, And even more
experienced golfers still slice shots
from time to time. Here are some simple
things you can try to fix it:

First, the problem is hardly ever the
club. If you feel it is, have your
driver examined by your local pro-shop,
so no doubt lingers in your mind.

Now, let’s consider what happens to a
sliced ball when it is in the air.
Here it seems best to state exactly
what is meant by the term ’sliced ball’
because a drive that finishes in the
rough on the right of the fairway is
not necessarily sliced. A sliced
drive is one that starts straight,
or nearly straight, from the tee and
curls in the right of the line on
which it started.
The reason for this is that the
ball is spinning from left to right,
and the air pressure, being greater
on the side which is turning into the
wind, in this case the left side,
pushes the ball to the right. A ball
that is correctly driven has
back-spin imparted to it by the club,
and the air pressing on the underside
of the ball tends to make it rise in
flight. A hooked ball naturally has
the reverse spin to a sliced ball.

This is very basic, but it is useful
knowledge from a beginner’s point of
view, because it may give you a clue
as to why you are slicing: To impart a
left-to- right spin to a ball, the face
of the club must be drawn from right to
left across the ball during the moment
of impact. This right-to-left movement
of the club may be the result of several
faults: the player may be hitting at the
ball, instead of through it, in other
words, checking the swing of the club
at a critical moment; or the grip may
be faulty, too tight with the left hand,
too loose with the right, possibly the
position of the hands on the shaft may be
wrong; or the player may be drawing in his
arms and not throwing them, as it were,
after the ball. Certainly the best method
of locating the fault is to go to your local
professional, but if that is not possible,
most experienced golfers would be able
to spot it.

But once the problem is found it, is by no means
cured; it is quite possible to know what
you are doing wrong without being able to
prevent yourself from continuing to do it!

Sometimes a simple cure will overcome the
slicing habit: Try turning the right hand
a little more under the shaft or gripping
a little tighter with it. You can also try
taking up the normal stance and then drawing
the right foot back a few inches.

In the beginners’ case slicing is just
going to happen! But I’m convinced
that if the beginner works hard, it can
be cured in a month or two instead of wearing
itself out perhaps in the course of a year or
even longer.

“Qreativity”: Revolutionary Ideas Come from Ridiculous Questions

Every creative business idea begins with a question.

A question that grabs attention. A question that might sound ridiculous at the time. A question that propels a wrecking ball of through the walls of ordinary thinking. But still, a question that makes every person in the room stop what he’s doing, sit back in his chair, stare off into space and say, “Huh. Now that’s an interesting idea…”

What is QREATIVITY?
QREATIVITY is creating something out of nothing by asking BIG questions.

This idea of question-based creativity has evolved through centuries of study from around the world. “One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; one who does not ask a question remains a fool forever,” says the ancient Chinese proverb. In the same light, E.E. Cummings once said, “Always the beautiful answer who asks a more beautiful question.” And Voltaire is famous for his words, “Judge a man by his questions rather than his answers.”

However, in the last few hundred years, other creative powerhouses like Einstein, Edison and De Bono went on to perfect question-based creativity with various techniques and experiments still used by businesspeople around the world.

But sometimes, businesspeople need to ask bigger questions. Questions that push an ideas to their very limits. Questions reminiscent to Kant’s Universalized Maxim which states “Act as if the maxim of your action were to become by your will a universal law of nature.”

In other words: what if everybody did it?

Here are some excellent examples of businesspeople - some of whom became businesspeople unexpectedly - because they asked universalized questions to spark their QREATIVITY.

What if I met everyone who shared my same name?

Dave Gorman was a stand up comic from London who decided to search the world for other people named Dave Gorman. While it began as a whim discussed over a pint in a pub, Dave’s adventures of searching for his “namesakes” led to books, television shows, DVD’s and a traveling concert tour across the world. Talk about an interesting career!

What if I always said yes to everybody and everything?

Danny Wallace was a television producer who met an estranged old man on a bus who told him three words that changed his life: say yes more. So he did. In fact, he didn’t just say it more, he said it ALWAYS. To EVERYTHING. For 6 months! And it changed his entire perspective on life, helped him meet his future wife, and of course, inspired him to write a hilarious book called The Yes Man. Danny is now somewhat of a superhero around London. (Interestingly enough, Danny Wallace was Dave Gorman’s old roommate. Guess the QREATIVITY acorn doesn’t fall far from tree!)

What if everybody wore their Lee jeans on the same day?

In 1995 somebody at Lee Jeans asked this question. 10 years later, Lee National Denim Day is the world’s largest single-day fundraiser for breast cancer. On one Friday in October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lee Jeans encourages millions of people nationwide to slip into their favorite jeans and make a $5 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Since 1996, Lee National Denim Day has raised more than $52 million for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs.

What if everybody in Seattle read the same book?

It’s doubtful that either Nancy Pearl, executive director of the Washington Center for the Book at the Seattle Public Library (WCB), or Chris Higashi, associate director for WCB, realized just how influential an idea they had conceived when they launched “If All of Seattle Reads the Same Book” in 1996. Today, over 50 cities, counties, or states have begun programs that encourage communities to read the same book at the same time and then to discuss it in numerous venues.

What if everybody donated just one dollar to cancer?

You’ve seen those ubiquitous yellow bracelets on the wrist of your friends, family members, politicians, athletes, even rock stars and actors! And all those people did was donate one dollar to cancer through The Lance Armstrong Foundation. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong, the LAF provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live strong. Not to mention, their initial campaign was recorded as one of the most successful in history, raised millions of dollars for cancer awareness, and even started a wrist band fad that will probably go down as one of the most memorable trends of the new millennium.

What if every customer was always greeted at the door?

Leave it to Sam Walton when it comes to QREATIVITY. Not only was he the pioneer of employee nametags, but he changed the entire customer service process by introducing a church-style icon to retail stores: greeters. You’ve no doubt had a conversation with one of these people - probably sometime in the last month! According to www.walmart.com, greeters are the front-line “soldiers” of the company, and prove that people and customer service make the difference in building customer rapport.

What if I wore a nametag all day, every day - for the rest of my life?

This is single most important question I ever asked myself. It was November 2nd, 2000, and I was wearing a nametag for a seminar. And I thought, hmm…what if I just kept this thing on my shirt every day? I wonder what would happen…

Five years, two published books, 80+ articles, over 100 speeches and I-can’t-remember-how-many interviews later; I’m still wearing that darn nametag. Every single day. And I love it. So much so that I got it tattooed on my chest! And it’s the validation for my existence, the most fun I’ve ever had and, interestingly enough, how I make a living.

That’s QREATIVITY.

And so, I ask you: what BIG question could YOU ask today to spark your QREATIVITY?

The Basics of Finding a Loan for People with Bad Credit

If you’ve ever tried finding a loan for people with bad credit, you might think that it’s impossible. Everywhere you turn, it seems as though there’s nothing but rejection to be found.

Don’t give up, though, because you can find a loan for people with bad credit if you know where to look… it’s easy enough to do, because there are a lot of different types of these loans out there.

An entire industry has evolved out of creating different ways to offer a loan for people with bad credit; one of these ways might be just what you’re looking for.

Small loans and petty cash

One of the most frustrating times to not be able to find a loan for people with bad credit is when you just need enough money to make it until your next payday or to cover small expenses.

If this is the case, you might want to consider trying to get a loan for people with bad credit from a pawnbroker or from a cash advance store. Both of these options offer small loans, usually with no credit check, to cover periods of a few weeks to a month or more.

Cash advance stores offer cash loans in exchange for a personal cheque, for 14 days or until your next payday. If you haven’t repaid the loan at that time, then the cash advance store can attempt to process the cheque, submitting it to the bank for payment.

Pawnbrokers work along similar lines, offering cash loans in exchange for personal property such as cameras, jewelry, or electronics. They will hold your property for a month, after which you either need to make a partial payment to extend the contract or pay the loan in full and reclaim your property. If you haven’t paid after 90 days, the pawnbroker can put the item up for sale in their shop.

It’s possible to get a larger loan for people with bad credit as well. One option for this is to get an auto title loan, which grants the lender a legal claim to the title of your vehicle as collateral for the loan. These loans are based upon the value of your vehicle, and if not repaid allow the lender to repossess the vehicle and put it up for sale.

Some banks and finance companies will also be willing to approve a loan for people with bad credit, but collateral is required to secure the loan. This collateral is often in the form of a vehicle, real estate, or some form of collectable or jewelry… though any property of value will possibly be accepted.

These loans usually have higher interest rates than other loans, but can provide not only the money that you need but also the first step towards rebuilding your credit.

With prompt repayment, you may not need to find a loan for people with bad credit in the future… because your credit can improve with every payment made.
