Always make sure your article has a really catchy title which encourages people to read it. Keep the content of your article to approx 500 - 750 words. Too long and the readers will not reach the end which is the important bit - that’s where you include the URL of your website.

Whatever your article may be about, the art of article writing will enable you to encourage your readers to visit your website. But how ? Well, the majority of websites you submit articles to will allow you to ’sign’ your work with not only your name but with a link to a website - YOUR website. Not only this, but you will be able to monitor how many people have read your article.

Popular is the belief that imagery and imagination are not real. From my point of view, imagination is real: it exists in another dimension of reality than the physical. Imagery is not less real because it is less dense than a chair.

Imagery is a set of mental pictures or images. These mental images are often used to represent objects or actions or ideas. Working with imagery, you can augment or transcend the limitations of physical reality. You can enhance and expand your conscious awareness.

I have observed again and again the power of imagination and imagery to shift an uncomfortable, even painful, situation into one that is more desirable, even pleasurable. I often lead clients through a guided imagery process that empowers them to perceive meaning they did not have before the imagery and use the new wisdom for enhanced personal empowerment.

When people claim they have no imagination, I ask them to tell me how to get to a particular street or well-known landmark in their city. Or I ask them what their plans are for tomorrow. Or I ask them what they had for dinner last night. When you plan a presentation for the boss or staff, you use imagery. When you consider a variety of approaches to ease a relationship, you use imagery. When you imagine a winning game of tennis or golf, you use imagery.

For me, imagery and breathing are in the same category of importance: Life can not exist without either. Surely, not everyone uses imagery or imagination in the same way or to the same level of benefit, but it is the basis for creation.

Form follows thought. And form follows thought, regardless of whether the thought is “positive” or “negative.” The process of imagery is impartial. However, if the images are uncomfortable, disempowering, or negative, the experiences that follow will contain a similar essence of discomfort, disempowerment, or negativity. And, as well, if the images are comfortable, empowering, or positive, the experiences that follow will contain a similar essence of comfort, empowerment, or positive characteristics.

Note the difference between the concept “chair” in the carpenter’s mind and the physical “chair” in your office. The carpenter or architect or artist or manager who successfully holds an image in the mind’s eye is more likely to be able to manifest it in the physical form. The two dimensions work together; one is not better than the other. An image can exist without the physical component, but the physical component does not exist without the image.

Imagery is a power that is your birthright it comes with the human package. How you use it is your choice. All you have to do is use it with integrity and awareness, and you are empowered!

We have a slight problem in the world and that is that other nations are teaching and educating their children that The United States of America is some sort of big bad bully in the World. Indeed some of the teachers and professors in our own country are busy doing the same. Of course this is utter hokum and complete hogwash; not to mention a little re-writing of the Middle Eastern Conflict, War on Terror and the Attack of 911.

This is simple brain washing and it is being spurred on by the mass media hysteria which was incited by the French as they put out a media hit on the United States of America prior to the Iraq Gulf War II. But why did the French turn on the US? Well it is simple really there are World Capitalists who were involved and also those who were involved in the French Government and the Iraqi “Oil For Food Scandal” and one could say it is pretty ballsy for them to call us evil in some way.

But that was then and this is now; and now we have the public school systems in Europe, Middle East and other parts of the World telling their children that America is an evil empire and this is a terrible thing for future world conflicts and those nations should not do this. It is liable to cause wars, which will get those same children killed, and shorten their lives and devastate their families. It is so completely irresponsible for these other nations to purport such BS in their classrooms to impressionable minds. That my friends needs to stop today.

Work at Home Success — How do you measure the success in your life? As a home-based working mom it’s so different than the outside corporate world. I know for me, one day it can be a call from Borders that they are accepting one of my books, where another day it can be that I finally got my 8-year-old to go on a field trip at school. The last two she had missed being too scared to attend and instead spent the day home, sick. Both days, I consider huge successes! Both days, I felt a real winner.

Home based success can mean the little things such as a day we get all our work done while attending a sick child, or being one of the only parents able to attend a school function that your daughter so eagerly anticipated. That’s what we are trying to achieve in our home-based business, the best of both worlds. And having worked at home since 1985 I can truly say, it can be done. As president of Virtual Word Publishing, I’ve enjoyed working at home while watching my kids grow up and become just as motivated and determined to succeed in business and life as I am. That’s one of the perks is they get to see what you do.

So how can you achieve this success for your business and family? How can you make more good days than bad? Here are some tips:

Start Early: I find that by getting up an hour or so before everyone else, I can accomplish so much more. That allows me the extra 10 minutes of devotional time, a few minutes to enjoy my coffee alone, and then time to dig into my work. I usually save my peak work for this time as this is truly when I’m at my best.

Regroup and Rebalance: So often home-based moms feel overwhelmed and unable to accomplish anything because of this. Try breaking it all down. Take a day or two and write down your typical day. What can you change to make it better, to make it work? Often when it’s down in writing, it’s clearer to see where changes can be made. Try to lump together tasks and delegate any tasks you can. And above all else-avoid Guilt.

Eliminate time-robbers! We still have to cook dinner, (I tried, it didn’t work!) but I don’t have to talk to my friend, who doesn’t work, for 45 minutes during my workday. Say No!

Also, with my kids I found some of the work I actually could take outside or in another room. There’s no rule that says I have to work at my desk. Perhaps you can create different workstations around the home. Be creative. Another shortcut for me was to create different books of materials that I frequently used so I didn’t have to reinvent the wheel each time and it was right in front of me. Thus, I created different 3-ring binder books of marketing letters, press releases, etc. Now when I want to write a marketing letter or a new press release, I can draw upon some of the quotes from my other letters and I find that often times I can use one of the letters I’ve already created.

Think about things that you can do for your business. Things that you use often, that you could print out and possibly make a collection of, and then look to as a resource. Or what other times savings tip could you think of that would help your business? Write them down. Now apply them to your business.

Another thing I do is buy paper that has 3 ring holes already in it. When I print out a client’s e-mail, or client’s article, I’ll immediately put it into their binder categorized by topic. I’m now able to find things faster and also can see clearly all I’ve done with the clients. I also color coordinate my clients files. When Client A calls, I grab my red folder and automatically jump into his work mode. It saves me so much “think time.”

Focus on Success: Continue to see yourself as a success and focus on your goals. Success is within your reach when you continually focus on your goals, both for your business and your family.
